Introduction
Mini-T
The Mini-T GPS Disciplined Clock is Trimble's latest offering for GPS synchronization devices targeting the wireless infrastructure. Unlike previous models which used conventional ASICs, this new module (like the Resolution T) implements the satellite receiver functionality using a commercially available, general purpose Digital Signal Processor (DSP). Due to this flexibility, this product will be upgradeable in the field to Galileo L1 compatibility when the code structure becomes available. The Mini-T timing receiver was implemented to test the technical feasibility and the cost effectiveness of the flexible DSP approach.
